upgraded from R5 to R6 to R7...

That a good information. But, I was a pclp in R5 and wrote 1 upgrade exam and became advanced application developer in R6. Then wrote another upgrade exam to become advanced developer in R7.

Are you telling that I can write one upgrade exam and become advanced developer in R8.

But, the certification path says following:
Prerequisite certification required:
IBM Certified Application Developer - Lotus Notes and Domino 7
Test(s)
1. One of the following:
a. Test 737 - Using LotusScript in IBM Lotus Domino 7 Applications
b. Test 753 - Using JavaScript in IBM Lotus Domino 7 Application s
c. Test 756 - Using Web Services in IBM Lotus Domino 7 Applications


2. Test 801 - IBM Lotus Notes Domino 8 Application Development Update

I haven't written any of the above R7 exams as I upgraded from R6 directly.
